Why 3x3 is important in basketball development
Iso tournament games will be played in match sets to increase urgency and intensity. The 3x3 playing style improves players overall game by putting them in decision making situations more often than in traditional 5 on 5 play. Players are challenged to enhance their individual offensive play, one on one defense ,and their ability to make decision reads on the fly. If you feel this would improve your child’s game please register. The first 40 players to register in each age bracket will be eligible for an evaluation try-out. Immediately following the evaluation, each player will be placed on a team. 5 team captains will be chosen by the iso board members. Captains will select a team of five in a draft. Once teams are chosen, each team will select a volunteer coach. In the following weeks after the tryout, coaches will recieve a tournament schedule by email, after paying a team entry fee of 85$ per team. Registration for the evaluation will start March 11th and ends May 17th.
